ABOUT US
The Oregon Ecobuilding Network (OEBN), which became a nonprofit 501(c)(3) in December 1999 thanks to sponsorship of the Pacific Northwest Foundation, developed from Portland's Allergy & Chemically Injured Support Group, which will continue to be a project of OEBN. This nonprofit grassroots organization is run by chemically injured for the benefit of those who have chronic disabilities due to injury from synthetic toxic chemical exposures, often from the workplace. Our symbol is the golden feather of the canary in the coal mine which indicates hazard to human health.

OEBN supporters are volunteers from the local community who are dedicated to assisting each other in promoting home, school, and workplace environments that will not trigger or exacerbate chronic illness while advocating for reasonable accommodation.

The focus of Oregon Ecobuilding Network is a commitment to make a positive difference with public advocacy directed at chemically injured patients, medical professionals, environmentally related organizations, school systems, media, and regulatory agencies. Read our Mission Statement.
